Michael Jacober is the Founder and CEO of Blanket, a software company dedicated to refining operations execution for large restaurant groups. He concurrently holds the position of Interim CEO at Ipsa, a company specializing in the production and self-distribution of premium frozen foods. With over two decades of experience in the food and beverage sector, Michael began his career in hospitality in 2002 as a busboy at Clarke Cooke House in Newport, Rhode Island. He further honed his skills in esteemed Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris and New York, including Per Se, Insieme, Anissa, and Franny’s, between 2005 and 2009. In 2011, he launched his first venture, leading to the establishment of a hospitality group that encompassed four independent restaurants and several mixed-use commercial properties, which he successfully exited in late 2019. Michael has provided expert consultancy for numerous prominent projects across New York and Charleston, SC. His expertise spans custom kitchen architecture, menu reengineering, and concept design for clients such as Common Living, Sugar Hill Capital, and Uptown Hospitality Group. He is also a licensed general contractor in New York.

A proud alumnus of Penn State University, Michael earned his B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management and served as the captain of the men’s varsity lacrosse team. He lives on Long Island with his wife and two children.
